Flower of the Month of April
Ranunculus comes from two Latin words, Rana, meaning frog, and unculus, which translates to little. It’s said that these beautiful flowers grow abundantly as “little frogs” along streams, giving its moniker Ranunculus.
Originated from Central Asia & eventually Europe. These flowers can take many forms & feature fuzzy, soft hair on their whimsical wavy stems.
They usually bloom in the spring, but can also be found year-round.
